TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE



  • Placing an Order:

    For Delta Hospitality Supplies to process your order, we need the following information: Your full name, email address, contact number, your billing address, and delivery address, delivery instructions and payment details.

    *Please note: If you do not receive an email confirmation, your order has not been processed. Please contact Delta Hospitality Supplies by phoning: 07 3633 0233. Orders will not be dispatched until payment in full has been received and Delta Hospitality Supplies are satisfied with the integrity of the order.

    It is a violation of the law to place orders under a false name or with a fraudulently obtained credit card. Suspect or fraudulent orders will be reported to the police and to the credit card company. Offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent the law allows.

    Stock Availability:

    Whilst we do our best to keep most items current and in stock, some items may not be in stock at the time of placing order. In the event that an item or items are not in stock, our salesperson will contact the purchaser within 48 hours of order to confirm delivery time and stock availability. Waiting times for goods can vary from 1-2 days and up until 4 weeks in some cases.

    Payment:

    All equipment remains the property of Delta Hospitality Supplies until payment has been received in full and all monies have been cleared or deposited into the nominated Delta Hospitality Supplies bank account.

    If items are ready for immediate dispatch then payment is required in full in advance before any items are shipped. This is inclusive of any freight charges that are to be incurred. If paying by Credit Card, all details including the CCV number which we require in order to validate use of credit card.

    If you have a 30 day account with Delta Hospitality Supplies, goods will only be dispatched if your account is current and within the trading terms set out in your letter of offer from Delta Hospitality Supplies.

    Cancellations:

    Orders may be cancelled under the following conditions.

    a) If the equipment is a stock item; cancellation must be at least one business day before shipping. Cancellation cannot occur on the day that goods are collected by the carrier. This will not be accepted as sufficient cancellation notice and the purchaser will be liable to take the goods. A cancellation fee will apply being a minimum of 20% of the purchase price for any goods incorrectly ordered and subsequently cancelled.

    b) The cancellation is received before any goods that are specially ordered begin manufacture. If not, the purchaser will be responsible to take delivery for the goods and pay in full. If the purchaser should refuse to accept these goods, any deposits or monies paid will be forfeited by the purchaser as there is no return on custom made goods.

    Return of Goods:

    Goods being returned for credit must be arranged with Delta Hospitality Supplies and it is at the expense of the customer to return goods to the nominated address as instructed by Delta Hospitality Supplies. Any goods returned due to change of mind will not be refunded however a credit note will be issued. All returned goods are subject to a 20% restocking fee and will only be accepted if returned in original condition and all original packaging, warranty cards and instruction manuals must be included. If the returned item has been used in any way it will not be accepted by Delta Hospitality Supplies and no credit will be issued. Any goods to be returned must be arranged with Delta Hospitality Supplies in advance and only then at our discretion can items be returned to store for credit.

    Refunds:

    A full refund will be given including any postage or freight by the customer in the following instances:
    • The items purchased have a fault that the customer could not have known about at the time of purchase;
    • The items purchased do not do the job the customer was led to believe they would;
    • The items purchased do not match the sample shown to the customer; and/or aren’t as they were described.
    • The items purchased are not an acceptable ‘saleable’ standard;
    • The items purchased are not the same as the description provided by the salesperson or advertisement;
    • The items purchased does not match the demonstration shown at the time of purchase; and/or does not do the job or perform to the standard that the customer was led to believe.

    Terms of Delivery:

    All deliveries organised by Delta Hospitality Supplies on behalf of the customer are to kerb side or street level only, unless previously arranged with Delta Hospitality Supplies. If Delta Hospitality Supplies is not previously told of any stairs or other access issues preventing a smooth delivery, the transportation carrier has right to refuse delivery upon arrival as they will not be sufficiently equipped to deliver on site. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to correctly notify Delta Hospitality Supplies with all delivery access and information prior to. If this is the case and further charges are incurred, the customer will be liable to pay all extra charges as they have misinformed Delta Hospitality Supplies prior to the delivery occurrence.

    Delivery Dates:

    All delivery dates as supplied on invoices are approximate only.

    Damaged Goods:

    If an item is received and is damaged or faulty in any way, you should immediately contact Delta Hospitality Supplies on 07 3633 0233 by phone or fax 07 3633 0266 listing your contact name, address, phone and fax numbers our invoice number and details of the fault or what is wrong with the item. Any delivery dockets or consignment notes must be kept and also submitted to Delta Hospitality Supplies for claims against transport companies. It may be necessary to forward photographs by form of email or post for any items sent interstate in order to assess damage to goods.

    Warranty:

    All items are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty. These terms are listed for each individual item on the website. Not all warranties are available to view on our website. Smaller items may be a back-to-base warranty. Please read carefully when purchasing item. If there are any further enquires, please do not hesitate to contact Delta Hospitality Supplies on 07 3633 0233 before purchasing. Warranty can be voided if customers tamper, alter or have another 3rd party repair any faults that may occur during the period of warranty without prior written approval from the manufacturer... If this is the case, the customer will be fully responsible for the item and the warranty is voided.

    Insurance:

    Insurance for goods in transit is not included in the purchase price. If insurance is required please notify Delta Hospitality Supplies immediately as a quotation will need to be arranged before shipping.

    General:

    It is the customer’s obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. If the delivery details you have given are incorrect, Delta Hospitality Supplies will not refund your payment.

    Prices of goods, delivery and other charges displayed on the Delta’s Hospitality Supplies website are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation without notice.

    We will always attempt to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions, images and pricing. In the interest of product development, some product features may be improved and hence vary slightly.

    All prices quoted are exclusive of GST. GST is shown separately in the shopping cart payment process.

    Products are subject to availability. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you to confirm a scheduled delivery date.

    Delta Hospitality Supplies does not warrant that a product is available or suitable for your purposes and by accessing this website you agree that Delta Hospitality Supplies will not be liable for any product that is not available or not suitable for your purposes or individual needs.

    These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Delta Hospitality Supplies (the website) and the purchase of any goods from it.

    Please note that by accessing, using or browsing this website you agree to be bound by its terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability ("Terms and Conditions"). Delta Hospitality Supplies reserves the right to amend or update such terms, conditions, disclaimers and limitations of liability at any time without providing notice to you.     Acceptance of Sale:
